Consortium spends c$14m for Wallan South residential site

A consortium is paying c$14 million for a future residential housing estate in Wallan South.

90 Rowes Lane Wallan has the potential to be subdivided into about 300 lots.

Ray White Land Sales director Adrian Petroulis said the property was sold within a matter of weeks, having had strong interest for property of that scale in the northen corridor.

Wallan South Precinct Structure Plan covers a total of 806 hectares and is bounded by Old Sydney Road to the West, Hume Freeway to the east and Wallan Township to the north/north-east. Wallan South is expected to have a residential focus and supported by associated services and facilities such as town centres, schools, community centres and parks.
